During our journey around Australia in 2024/2025, we witnessed countless breathtaking landscapes. It would be fair to say that Bunda Cliffs ranked highly among them. Extending for an astonishing distance of 210 kilometres and towering 60 to 120 meters above a wild, crashing ocean in the Great Australian Bight, this awe-inspiring natural wonder has to be seen to be believed.
We got lucky! We arrived in the middle of the afternoon to a clifftop devoid of travellers - yes, we had the entire place all to ourselves. It felt like we had stumbled upon our own private edge of the world. We stayed the night, firmly reminding ourselves not to go sleepwalking in the wee hours! Early next morning, I unpacked the drone and captured some footage of the rugged, untamed coastline at our doorstep. This is a piece of Australia like no other—raw, beautiful, and unforgettable.
